The lease goes until July 31, but we have to relocate and move out early as of May 26. We therefore want to sublet or assign the apartment to until the end of the lease. Staying in the apartment and signing a new 12 month lease after July 31 should be possible, subject to approval by the landlord.
The apartment comes fully furnished (all items no older than 8 months), washer/dryer in unit, dishwasher, central air, hardwood floor, expansive bright open and airy living room and king size bedroom with two mattresses (we don't have proper beds because of the danger that our two kids could fall out of the bed during sleep), closet space in bedroom, oversized windows, wi-fi, espresso machine, blender, juicer, printer, sofa (can be converted to a bed), living room curtains are movable (we use them to create separate space in the living room for friends sleeping over; can also be used to create a seperate room for a roommate),
elevator, wheelchair access, gym, communal backyard, live-in super, bike room, package room, locker/cage.
Multiple grocery stores within 5 minute walking distance, Costco & Aldi within 10 minutes walking distance.
Commute to Midtown Manhattan: 25-30 minutes (4,5,6 train).
Construction of the building was completed in 2023, we were the first occupants, everything is new and neat.
The house is quiet, no loud neighbors.
