In order to post a listing, you would need to submit some very basic personal information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the physical address of the listed property. We only collect information that you supply to us. Please note that if you have posted a listing with us, if you respond to any inquiries from our website your email address will be revealed to the person making the inquiry. You agree to receive text messages and phone calls (from us or our third-party providers) with verification codes in order to use certain features on our website.
REQUEST DATA DELETION: At any time you can remove your personal information yourself by clicking the "Disable Account" link in MY ACCOUNT. Alternatively, you can message us by using the FEEDBACK button and request we delete your data.
The address of the property listed will be posted on our web site on the main listing page as well as the search results page, but the unit number will not. (However, for licensed real estate agents and professional landlords, the unit number may be publicly displayed.) We ask for the unit number for verification purposes, so we need this information to be correct otherwise we may deactivate the listing and your account without contacting you first. Note that if you are a tenant posting an apartment, as part of the verification process, we could reveal to the landlord or property manager the unit number of any posted listing on our website.
frēlē will only use your phone number for verification purposes, or to contact you about your listing, or to provide the information to a real estate agent or Frele third party partner only if you ask to be connected to a real estate agent or Frele third party partner. frēlē will also send your name and email address to a real estate agent or Frele third party partner only if you ask to be connected to a real estate agent or Frele third party partner. Note that if you ask to be contacted by a real estate agent, frēlē may use third party vendors such as Connect Now Inc to route your contact information to real estate agents. Also, you should be aware that some real estate agents may also use their own third party vendors to keep track of your contact information.
frēlē will use your email address if we need to contact you directly for any reason or to send you any updates or important information relating to frēlē. We will not sell or knowingly provide this information to any third party, unless required to do so by legal authorities. The apartment address and information, and your name, phone number, and email address are held in our database until the apartment listing and account are deleted.
By registering with us, you agree to the use of your email address for online marketing purposes relating to frēlē. For example, you agree to be signed up for any and all frēlē newsletters which could include being invited to groups, such as Facebook groups. You can unsubscribe to any of our newsletters at anytime by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of our newsletters. Note that these newsletters are run by third party websites. For example we use Mailchimp as our third party provider for newsletters.
If you are just searching for rental listings but do not register with us, we do not knowingly collect any personal data from you. However, please note that if you register with us and contact someone who has posted a listing on our website, the email address and the name you registered with will be revealed to the poster of the apartment. Sometimes the poster may ask frēlē to resend the contact information from those renters who have contacted the poster. On a case by case basis we may resend the email addresses and names to the poster since it was already revealed to them.
frēlē may be copied on emails between "posters" of listings and users who contact those "posters". frēlē does this to be able to monitor spamming efforts, as well to better understand how people are using our web site.
We don't employ tracking devices for marketing purposes, including cookies. However, cookies are used and placed on your computer in order to store a session (i.e. to remember your login state, search criteria, filtering, and sorting view etc.). Also note that when we serve ads to you, then third party vendors, including Google and Meta (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) use cookies to serve these ads.
