This apartment is on the fourth floor in a building directly off Morningside Park, which has a lovely pond, dog park and lots of trees. It's also a few blocks from Central Park and a few subway stations (110th St/Cathedral Pkwy C/B, 116th St C/B, and further out the 110th St 2/3 trains). Every Saturday there's a really nice farmer's market a few blocks up.
The apartment itself is a decent-sized studio with a brand new in-unit washer/dryer, a dishwasher, electric oven, built-in microwave with vent, and video intercom. It was newly renovated when I moved in here in May. Bed shown in photos is a queen-size bed. There is an (old) elevator in the building. (The dog gate by the bathroom door will be taken out...)
For breaking my lease I can optionally sublease, but would prefer someone to take over the lease (which means they would cancel my lease and give you a new 12-month lease).. They will most likely ask for a higher price than what I'm paying now ($2,450). If you would like to sublet, it would be through May 15, 2025.
Purchasing a Home
Would be willing to sell compact Burrow couch, white mirrored Ikea armoire and rug shown in photos/video for a fair price. All were purchased a few months ago and are in excellent condition.
Building is pet-friendly, but if you would like to have a pet it would need to be a lease takeover instead of a sublet. I did not have to pay any extra fees for my pet (a small dog).
