[Seeking subletter/roommate to fill 1 bedroom in a 2 bed / 1.5 bath UWS apartment for a flexible/negotiable length of time - $2400 / month, starting on Oct 1st 2024]

Hello! I am looking to find a new roommate for one of the two bedrooms within my apartment starting October 1st, for $2400/month which is half of the $4800 total rent we would split evenly. I am flexible on the length of time the sublet could be, depending on the needs of the subletter, so that can be negotiable. It is a 2 bed, 1.5 bath apartment on the UWS of Manhattan, in a lovely pet friendly majority family building with a genuinely excellent super, a basement space for packages and a laundry room, which is half a block from the 1/2/3 trains and 1.5 blocks from the B/C trains and Central Park.
The second bedroom is occupied by the current tenants, i.e. me and my boyfriend, Dylan, and my dog, Ripley. The kitchen is pretty wide for an NYC galley style kitchen, I feel, and there is also a large, shared storage closet in the living room/dining room space, as well. The bedroom in question has two sunny windows overlooking the beautiful architecture across the street, and a sizeable closet with shelving inside. There may be potential to provide the room as a furnished room, so please feel free to specify that if needed! The main bathroom is a “Jack and Jill” bath, and has a door connecting it to each bedroom on opposite sides, so you just lock the opposite bedroom door from the inside. Our common areas have furniture, cooking tools/appliances, a TV, record player, books, video games of all kinds, etc. that you could utilize, as well!
More about us: Dylan is a 29 y/o software engineer who works from home within our bedroom, and I am a 30 y/o video editor with a TV background currently working from home but can be in and out depending on the gig. Our puppy, Ripley, is a pomsky who is extremely friendly and can be trained to stay out of the private bedroom if preferred (as has been done for previous roommates) and is in the midst of training to be a medical alert service animal for me, so she is a well-trained dog already. Dylan and I both love D&D and video games and often casually host friends for this (which would of course always be an open invitation!), but otherwise are rather quiet roommates who don’t party or smoke, or even cook much honestly. Dylan has a 3D printer and is easily convinced to make things for others, and I also love books and houseplants, of which there are many in this apartment.
