An amazing apartment in a full service doorman building. The price is currently under market rate (a unit like this in my building currently goes for about $6,500). My family and I have lived here the better part of seven years, however we just need more space as my kids are getting bigger (teen needs her own bathroom, ugh!) .
The apartment is 910 sq ft and is currently set up as a large 1br, 1.5 bath, however it can easily and legally can be flexed into a two bedroom (see video). The dining room converts into a large second bedroom (see diagram). Both rooms can easily accommodate a king-size bed, dresser and desk. Some of the pics show the living room when the wall was up, however it is now back down. If you want the wall, I'm happy to pay to have it put back up ;)
The apartment has a tremendous amount of light and exceptional views of the Chrysler and Empire State buildings. The apartment features a nice size foyer and plenty of closets. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances including a gas stove and a fridge with a door ice maker and filtered water dispenser. FYI--the video shows white appliances, however the kitchen now has stainless steel appliances (see photos).
Water and gas included in rent which means low bills in the winter!
Incredible location -- subway 1.5 blocks away, bus lines right outside, good schools and great nightlife. You'll also find a Trader Joe's right across the street and a Target just a 5 min walk away!
Building amenities include a rooftop pool and gym, private garden, laundry room on every floor, elevators, bike room, package room, concierge and roof sundeck.
The lease reassignment is approved by my building too and it would be processed through rental office, just need to find someone to take it over.

Building will require a credit check, proof of income and an application. I believe the application fee is $20.
No pet fees! Apartment is unfurnished. 90 days before the lease expires, the building will send you a renewal notice and then have 45 days to decide whether you want to renew or cancel.
