Hey everyone! I’m looking for someone to do a lease takeover for my portion of the lease for Nov 1-Jul 31, 2025, with a possibility to renew. Move-in date can be a bit flexible but earlier is better.
I truly do love this room, my roommates and this location, but I can no longer stay due to a housing opportunity that came up for me, so I’m looking for 1 person to fill the 2nd bedroom in the unit and join my two roommates and their cat in a 2bd/1bath in Flatbush, BK.
About you:
Must be willing to stay for the remainder of the lease. Must be able to prove income and/or guarantor. Preferably no pets but depending on the pet it can be considered. I’ve had 2 birds in the space with me.
About your roommates:
My 2 roommates are a couple who share the first bedroom and you must be ok with that. They prefer to keep a quiet, tidy and cozy space. They are both queer, LGBT+ friendly and 420 friendly.

- Phillip (they/them/any pronouns), 23, Black, working full time in the cannabis industry, The New School graduate
- Peach, 1, extremely cute and affectionate, food motivated male cat

It’s a short walk from the Church Ave B/Q trains, Church Ave 2/5 trains, B35 and B49 bus.
Rent: $1,500/mo for the bedroom, security deposit will vary between $1k-1.5k
The bedroom: 2 large windows, closet with shelves, fits up to a Queen sized bed & 2 dressers
The unit: It’s rather small but functional. It’s a 2nd floor quick walkup, laundry on premises downstairs, heat included, only utilities are electric and wifi, central A/C in both bedrooms and common area.
