Looking for a lease transfer to take over the apartment starting 12/15 with intent to resign. The new lease would start February 1st, 2025.

The apartment building has an elevator and laundry is in the building. The building has 24 hour security guard and a package room. The building also has a parking lot (unsure of what the fee for a spot is, that is a question for management). Almost every train you can think of is within walking distance . A 5 minute walk from the F/G, a 10 minute walk from the D, R, A & C, and a 15 minute walk from the  N, W, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Neighborhood is great - offering a ton of amazing spots for drinks, shows and food. Right by a Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. Also a very short walk (about 20 min) to DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights and Prospect Park, as well as a quick train ride to Williamsburg or Manhattan.

Due to this being a rent stabilized building, you would have to be approved by the city entity HDC (the management will walk you through the application process). As a combined household, you must make at least $107K annually (gross), no more than $260k and your assets must be less than $297K (retirement funds do not count towards this cap).
