The building is a block away from Astor Place with easy access to the 4/5/6, N/Q/R/W, and F lines. The unit is on the 4th floor overlooking 7th St and has great sunlight throughout the year. There are two separate rooms: one is being used as a bedroom and the other is currently being used as an office, but it can also be used as a living space or smaller 2nd bedroom. The building is rent stabilized.
I'm open to selling most of the furniture in the apartment including any attachments to the walls, depending on what you need.
Property management requires you to have an annual salary of at least 40x the monthly rent. If you do not meet this requirement, then you can must with a guarantor who meets 80x the rent requirement.
Personal Reasons
I'll connect you with the landlord, and then you'll fill out the application for a lease takeover. We'll have to figure out pro-rating the rent between ourselves if you takeover during the middle of the month, since rent is always paid on the 1st of the month. We'll also need to transfer the security deposit which is 1 month's rent.
