Hi all,

I am looking to sublet my space for January and part of February (flexible dates — open to discussion). It is on a quintessentially lovely East Village block. You will have easy access to some of the best restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, and bakeries the city has to offer in addition to being very close to Tompkins Square Park, Trader Joe's, and Target. *Two blocks from the 1st Avenue L stop*
This neighborhood has become so near and dear to my heart -- I love walking around for hours and absorbing all its warmth and quirks.

The apartment is cozy and perfect for one person. It feels more spacious than what its square footage would have you believe due to a unique layout -- a long hallway at the entrance, the kitchen being up on a step, and high ceilings. It is on the second floor (so you'll never be out of breath carrying up the groceries), at the back of the building (away from the street) so it is quiet, and all the windows face beautiful greenery that makes it feel like an oasis. It will come **fully furnished** -- I am posting just a few pictures for now, however, for seriously interested parties, I will provide pictures and/or a virtual tour of the entire space.

This building has many folks that have been here for decades and are rooted in the community -- we are all incredibly respectful of each other and foster a sense of homey-ness. Additionally, my immediate neighbors on each side are quiet, and I make sure to be the same way to ensure they are comfortable. Therefore, I would like to sublet to someone who will not throw parties and is extremely considerate of those around them. No pets are allowed.
I have also been very lucky with a great building management team -- they are prompt, responsive, and incredibly caring of each tenant.
