Make this incredible apartment your next home!
I’ve absolutely loved living in this spacious 1-bedroom apartment for the past year and a half. From the cozy interior to the friendly neighbors and vibrant, convenient neighborhood, it has truly been a gem. While I originally signed a 2-year lease, I’ve decided to move in with friends who are also settling in the city—so now, I’m excited to pass this fantastic place on to you! The lease runs until August 2025. While management approval for a lease extension would need to be discussed, it’s certainly a possibility. I’m seeking a sublease starting in March, but I’m open to a lease transfer if that works better for you.
Why You’ll Love This Apartment
Spacious and cozy: The apartment features a comfortable layout with a generously sized living area and a newly renovated kitchen.
Versatile bedroom: The bedroom currently fits a queen bed perfectly, though it can accommodate a king if needed.
Perfect for hosting: The space easily accommodates gatherings of up to 15–20 people, making it great for entertaining.
Private balcony: Enjoy fresh air and city sounds from the balcony off the bedroom—a perfect spot for morning coffee or unwinding in the evening.
Washer and dryer in unit: No need to worry about laundry trips—everything you need is right at home.
Pet-friendly: The apartment welcomes pets, so your furry friends are more than welcome!
Well-equipped bathroom: The bathroom is spacious and thoughtfully designed.
Comfortable year-round: Heating throughout the apartment is controlled via a thermostat in the living room.
Utilities: Electricity is through ConEd, and the apartment covers water costs. Internet is currently Spectrum, though you can switch providers if you prefer.
Building Perks
The building is welcoming and well-maintained, with friendly neighbors who’ve become like family. Trash and recycling are conveniently located at the front of the building. Maintenance requests are a breeze—just use RentCafe, which is also where you pay rent.
Neighborhood Highlights
Located on 28th Street between 3rd and 2nd Avenues, this apartment is in a prime spot:
Convenient transit: Just a 6-minute walk to the 6 train and steps from M15, M15+ SBS, and M101 buses.
Green spaces: A park just 4 minutes away features a basketball court, playground, and a dog park.
Great dining and nightlife: Enjoy nearby favorites like Bella Union, Gem Saloon, and Factory 380, along with countless other bars and restaurants.
This apartment has been the perfect starting point for my NYC journey, and I’m confident it will be for you too. If you’re interested, I’d love to schedule a showing and discuss details further. I prefer a sublease, but I’m happy to discuss a lease transfer if that’s what works best for you. Let me know when you’d like to stop by!
