One private room in a 2BR fully furnished apartment (But the whole apt is for you!)

I'm going on a six-month work trip to France and will need someone to stay at my flat. It is a two-bedroom apartment, but I'm keeping the second one as storage while I'm away. Might extend for a year!

I'm looking for someone clean, knows how to care for plants, and would treat the space as if it were theirs. No problem if they have a partner who stays there occasionally, but no couples living together. I suggest a one-month deep cleaning, with a helper who has been working with me for years.

You must be OK with me coming every three or four months for one to three weeks for occasional work; of course, it will be anticipated, and we can discuss timings to avoid drama. I can also stay somewhere else for a couple of days in between my time in NY, just to have some air in between, but might need access to my office in the second bedroom during the day, just to grab equipment or work for some hours.

The price will be fixed, regardless of my time spent here, hence the agreement and the price for a fully furnished apartment. Utilities are separated: Internet, Gas, and Electricity could be around $80-120, depending on how much you use, and I will be more than happy to split them in half for the time I'm there.

I'm looking for someone who can commit for at least six months but is open to seeing what the future unfolds.

Located on North Bedstuy, this four-story building has only one apartment per floor, which makes it very private. Cameras are managed through an app. Willoughby Ave and Stuyvesant. Trains J and M stop by Myrtle Broadway, a block away. Walk a little further and take the 4 or the L. My best friend has lived in the apartment below for 10 years, so if you need anything, she'll be there for you. We look out for each other in this building.

No pets (sorry).

Once a subtenant is selected to move in, they must sign a sublease agreement. This agreement will include a move-in/move-out checklist, up-front delivery of 1 month's rent & a security deposit.
