I am looking for someone to take over my lease at 2400 M St NW. This is a studio apartment, rent is $2,144/month. Currently available studios at this property start at $2,400/month. Lease ends October 8, 2025, with option to renew. Flexible move-in date, though preference for those who can move in ASAP!

This would be an assignment of the lease, where you will go through the apartment’s application process and once approved will have a lease directly with 2400M that will end October 8, 2025 (which you can renew). I have included photos of the space (peel and stick wallpaper that I can remove before move out!) and am happy to chat or do a Facetime walk through of the space.

Has two storage closets, a large two-door pantry, and washer/dryer in-unit.

Building has a gym, internal courtyard and rooftop. Location is great, with easy ccess to GWU and Georgetown and walking distance to downtown. Building is two minute walk to Trader Joes and 10 minutes to Whole Foods. The building is pet friendly and accepts dogs of all sizes. There is also parking available on site, though there is free, zoned parking all around the building which you can apply for online.

Additional fee

Will apply directly though apartment. Once application is accepted, a new lease will be drawn up between you and apartment company, and I won’t be listed on lease at all.
