I am seeking a roommate to rent a large, sunny, exposed brick bedroom with a private 1/2 bathroom en suite in my 2BR Kensington/Prospect Park South apartment. Newly renovated and has a Washer Dryer in Unit! Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment with our shared space (full bathroom and open floor plan kitchen/living room) in between providing lots of privacy. I am a 40yr old creative professional deeply immersed in NYC's adhoc art scene, queer and seeking other queer or queer friendly folks to share my space. I am outgoing, friendly, no drama minded and tidy. I am seeking someone who is friendly, tidy, open minded, into an open communication home and pays rent on time. I am happy to socialize during down time and also respectful of personal time. I would love someone here with the same approach.

I have a basset hound mix dog. He's a sweetheart and basically my shadow. When I am not home, he stays in my room. He's pictured in this listing. :)

Easy walk to G, F,Q and B Church Ave Trains. 20min express bus to Manhattan! 10min walk to Prospect Park and a 30min bike ride (or train) to Coney Island! Lots of local fresh, independent grocers/markets as well as bars/restaurants. I have lived here since 2017 and LOVE my apartment and neighborhood. Happy to give tips.

Additional fee

For longer term stays/roommate situation, I would ask for a check stub and a credit check for a $30 fee.
